1. Accepted payment methods
At IEL Cosmetique, we offer several secure payment options so you can shop with confidence.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank cards via Stripe: Visa, Mastercard and other cards accepted by our payment provider.
- PayPal: secure payment through your PayPal account.
- Apple Pay: fast, secure payment on compatible devices.
- Google Pay: fast, secure payment on compatible devices and browsers.
- Klarna: pay in instalments or later, depending on the options offered at checkout and subject to Klarna approval.
The payment methods actually available are shown at checkout. Availability may vary depending on your device, country and the payment providers’ terms.
2. Payment when ordering
Payment is due when the order is placed, unless a deferred or instalment payment option is offered and approved by the relevant provider.
The order is confirmed once the transaction or payment authorisation has been approved by the payment provider.
For Klarna payments, the instalment schedule and payment terms are those presented and accepted when choosing that option.
3. Payment security
The security of your transactions is a priority for IEL Cosmetique.
Our website uses a secure HTTPS (TLS/SSL) connection to protect information exchanged while browsing and shopping.
Payments are processed by specialised providers, including Stripe, PayPal and Klarna, depending on the payment method selected.
Your complete bank card details are processed by the relevant payment providers and are not stored directly on IEL Cosmetique’s servers.
Additional security checks, including bank authentication, may be required to protect your transactions.
4. Late or failed payment
If a payment is declined, fails or is not approved, IEL Cosmetique may suspend order processing until the situation is resolved.
If payment cannot be approved, the order may be cancelled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale and applicable law.
For deferred or instalment payments through Klarna, the terms governing due dates and any payment incidents are set out in the agreement with that provider.
5. Invoicing
An invoice is made available to the customer after order confirmation and payment approval, in accordance with our store’s invoicing procedures.
It may be sent by email or accessed through the customer account where that feature is available.
IEL Cosmetique benefits from the French VAT exemption scheme (franchise en base de TVA). Invoices include the statement: “TVA non applicable, article 293 B du Code général des impôts”.
